It is a multinational company with annual revenue of about 0.5 billion US Dollars in China and branches and sales centers covering over 10 countries.
 
 
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
Key Areas of focus:
 
- Be a Partner with the Sales organizational leadership to achieve financial (revenue, profit, cash, etc) and business commitments in China.  
 
- Understand the key needs of the Sales & Marketing team and partner with them to prioritize and deliver the essentials that will best support the business.
 
- Be a trusted and credible partner to the GM and his staff.
 
- Be an effective Business Partner who both collaborates with the China Sales team but also maintains the right level of objectivity and performance tension to drive continuous improvement. 
 
- Be a source of productive ideas, a good sounding board, a person helping to achieve the collective goals of the business, but also one who will productively challenge the team to deal with the issues that need to be dealt with in an effective and timely manner. 
 
- Be a strong voice on the cross-functional leadership team.
 
- Contribute to the definition and execution of the China Growth and Profitability strategy. 
 
- Provide Financial Leadership in determining strategic business direction and align financial strategies.
 
- Be a Partner with the VP, Finance & Sales & Marketing and actively contribute as a member of the Financial Leadership Team. 
 
 
 
Other Areas of responsibilities:
 
- Champion of Tools & Processes that support the timely and accurate delivery of Critical Sales & Marketing Financial information, while leveraging Global Solutions where ever possible for scalability
 
- Co-Champion Credit Risk decisions with the China Sales & Marketing GM
 
- Portfolio & Resource Allocation Management
 
- Involvement and Contribution to Productivity and or Cost Reduction Initiatives
 
- Champion Sound Business Controls for China.
 
- Champion Profitability Analyses and specifically the Cascading P&L reporting
 
- Proactively prepare China GM re: Key deliverables
 
- Proactively Champion the identification of Regional Business Risks and partner with China GM and or others to mitigate ASAP
 
- Champion ensuring timely collection of cash from customers and involve Sales Leadership, Shared Services and functional leadership as required to ensure prompt resolution of late payment issues.
 
- Leverage the Shared Service as the provider of Credit & Collections and the organization to operationalize the input from the Region.
 
- Champion Revenue recognition in your Region. Partner with the DC, SSO, Corporate Accounting, Ops, SC, Sales & Marketing, etc. to ensure all aspects of Revenue Recognition in your region are consistently GAAP compliant both in form and substance.
 
- Champion SOX compliance cross-functional in China and function year-round. Ensure zero material weaknesses. Also, ensure that SOX is compliant but in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
 
- Own functional effectiveness and efficiency in your region. Seek to drive continuous improvements. .
 
 
 
Job Requirement:
 
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting; 7+ years of direct experience in FP&A leadership directly supporting business partners.
 
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
 
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
 
- Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
 
- Strong team building skills and the proven ability to work with a diverse group of people.
 
- Ability to develop high levels of credibility and develop strong professional relationships with upper management, peers and subordinates.
 
- Experience with Oracle and database tools preferred
 
- Fluent in Mandarin and English languages
 
- Prepared to travel – 25% expected travel frequency
